Birth control / IUD?

I’m a little over 2 weeks PP and I’m looking into contraceptives. I was taking the pill for 10+ years prior to getting pregnant and idk if I want to go on it again. I was given pamphlets on Paragard and Mirena IUD - if you’ve been on either, what’s been your experience? I want something I can come off of and not have much of a waiting period to get pregnant again. IUD can’t be placed until 12 weeks PP. OB mentioned there was a pill too I could take that they give to breast feeding moms (I don’t remember exactly what she said about it because I was already thinking I didn’t want a pill) What was your experience with contraceptives after birth or what do you plan on using /why?

I want to have another baby jn a couple years and I enjoyed being off birth control the year prior to getting pregnant. I plan on just tracking my ovulation and making my man pull out which has always worked for us. Idk if I want all the hormones from bc post partum :/

I used natural cycles to track my ovulation and avoid sex the week I am ovulating when I am not trying to get pregnant

I went with the Copper IUD before and after my first son was born and now with my second. There are no hormones with the Copper one, so you can still track your period because it doesn't make them stop like the other ones. Which I liked because I wanted to know if I had accidentally gotten pregnant before we were ready. Once off of it, you're not wondering when you're ovulating and waiting for your period to start up again. Which can take a while. (From what others have told me) Otherwise, there were no issues, and the placement process was super easy and fast. Especially because things are still "open" from being pregnant and giving birth. Once it was removed both times, it only took 3 to 4 months to get pregnant, but probably could have been sooner. However, we weren't really trying that hard to get pregnant again. Meaning I wasn't doing the every other day a few times a day sex plan.
