Help!

I am 7 weeks pp and my fiancé and I had sex last night, unprotected (we are dumb and weren’t thinking in the moment). What can I use for emergency contraception as plus size? I’ve always heard Plan B pills don’t work on people over 175 pounds. I had a very traumatizing pregnancy and labor and I cannot go through it again 🥺 what can I do?

Plan B is just not quite as effective on plus size people. It could still work as long as you take it soon. Also, if you haven’t gotten your first postpartum period yet, you might be okay regardless

@Sophia I just got off of my first period on Sunday. He pulled out but I know I could still have a good chance of being pregnant even though he pulled out

Plan B is definitely going to be your best bet then

You shouldn’t be in your fertile window though if your period just finished

Funnily enough, this exact thing DID happen to me with my first (born May ‘23 under some very traumatizing circumstances & a NICU stay that about killed me) and despite being on the pill and taking it religiously well..here I am, lol. It’s very scary, but you’re probably fine and the chances are low for conception. Sperm can survive for up to a week, though, so I would test eventually just to be safe.

Plan b? I’m like at 178 I think, and it works if not i would be having babies lol. But give it a try.

Take two plan b’s - I think that’s the instruction on the box or call your obgyn and they can prescribe another “plan b” option for women who are bigger
