Arm implant birth control questions

Does anybody have the arm implant birth control and have any side effects? Good or bad, I’d like to know them all 😅 I’m trying to decide which birth control I should use. The implant appeals to me, but I suffer with bad hair loss, and weight gain. So I’m worried any side effects would make these issues I have worse?

I didn’t have my for an entire year. Eventually, it did come back. But the cramping was way less severe than when I was on the pill, or not on any birth control, and I was like clockwork, which never happened before, unless I was super strict about taking my pills. I had it for six years before I had it removed. Took a while to get pregnant after I got it out, and I had one miscarriage (at 9 wks) before my 🌈baby. But I’m not entirely sure that had anything to do with the implant. The OB told me that it’s very common to have a miscarriage or multiple before having a successful pregnancy. It’s just that for most people, the miscarriage happens so early that they didn’t even even know they were pregnant. I can’t recommend the implant enough, it worked really well for me and my body.

I've had three of them. First one stopped my periods for the full 3 years. Second one stopped my periods for about 2 years but they were light for the last year. The last implant I was pretty much constantly on my period and had it removed early

@Aimee if you don’t mind, may I ask you what you used after your third implant for birth control?

I had a few years off contraception to have my children Now I have the coil but I've only had it 2 months

The coil is a iud ( implant in your uterus)
