Not totally mom related. Jewlery question.

Hey there. Does anyone wear a necklace 24/7. Specifically with a pendant? This is mine. I have questions. I never take it off.

yes I have two that I don’t take off

Yeah, I have a necklace and my rings that never come off. I even wore them in theatre when my baby was born 🤣 baby girl has thankfully never pulled at my jewellery

I have a similar pendant from our wedding ...I only take it off to shower. My husband just got me a keepsake locket for mother's day so now I have 2 that I only take off to shower. Any tips on keeping them from tangling??

I had one off my nan i wore for 16yrs and unfortunately lost in on a day out 😭 my sister bought me a new one as a replacement in oct and that's also not come off yet.

I don’t wear a necklace too much after baby pulled a few and broke them. Now I just do it occasionally.

@Sarah I am looking from tips too! As I have two, as well. They both are from my mom and have TON of meaning, so I want to wear both, but they always tangle. I have worn the one in the pic in the shower. Should I not be?

@Kimberly how do get them to not tangle when wearing two? And have you noticed any marks or issues on the chest of your skin? By it swaying or moving or anything at all? When you climb stairs, run, etc.

Yes

@Tanisha It all really depends on what is it made out of? Generally though if you want it to last longer it is recommended that you remove it before hand. If it’s real (gold or silver), you should be ok to wear every day as it won’t tarnish the metal however, it can dull over time for being exposed to water so frequently. I like clean mine annually since it will collect oils and sweat throughout the day. Stainless steel can be worn in the shower, but it shouldn't be worn in the ocean because it doesn't do well with chloride. It's best to invest in surgical-grade stainless steel if you like stainless steel. This is what most memorial items are made from. Durable gemstones like diamonds, rubies, and tourmaline can be worn in water, but sensitive gemstones like pearls and opals should be avoided. Diamond jewelry should be removed before showering because soaps, lotions, and natural oils can leave a film over the diamonds.

I never take mine off either

I have a nameplate necklace that I never take off! I've had no problems so far.

Yea. I have a set of bangles that’s permanent and I switch out my earrings, necklaces all the time. I wear one all the time but it might not be the same one, that’s all.

I don't take off my necklace and 3 bracelets
