I need answers too

Mini pill doesn't have oestrogen

I was bleeding for 4 months consistently on the mini pill 😫 and theres a higher risk of getting breast cancer using the pill. And it runs in my family.

Diaphram, spermicide, sponge, copper coil, condoms, pulling out, tracking cycles and sterilisation 😕 most aren't recommended anymore as they're not very effective. I spoke about them with the nurse/doctor at my 6w check because hormonal stuff really doesn't agree with me, I've tried sooo many things. Anything with Oestrogen gives me migraines, the progesterone ones screw with my mood and sex drive and I'm allergic to some metal so can't have a copper coil. Next thing she suggested was sterilisation! But said I probably won't be accepted due to my age.

Implant is just progesterone but bleeding is one of the main side effects 👎🏽I’m having mine taken out because of this c

Ive had the mini pill and that didnt work for me and ive had the implant but bled for 9 months! and injection ect. Cant have the pill as my mum suffers with blood clots. And the copper coil at the mo is making my periods so heavy and so painful even 2 weeks after i stop bleeding and i just cant bare it anymore! There should be more options! And im only 24 and we would like to have another baby one day xx

I tracked my fertility days and that worked well for me but it's almost impossible to figure out what my body is doing while breastfeeding. That's how I got pregnant with a 4m old lol

Depo is estrogen free, just progesterone

It’s the one I have to use due to high blood pressure

Ah i had trouble with that too with bleeding i swear my body just doesn’t agree with birth control 😫

Fertility Awareness Methods are natural family planning (not the same as the rhythm method), but it takes time and commitment to learn a method, understand your body and you need to track your temp at roughly the same time every day, be aware of the impact of external factors etc... I have great success with it, but it's not for everyone.
