Birth control while breastfeeding?
I’m currently about 6weeks postpartum. I have a ob appointment Tuesday and want to get back on birth control. What’s the best one to use when breast feeding? I have been seeing stuff about the pill drying my milk up, and don’t want to get the shot because I’m afraid life will get busy and I’ll forget to get it again. Thinking about getting an IUD but not sure. Help?

I liked the nuvaring before having kiddos, but not sure if it'll hurt breastfeeding. We used spermicide while I was breastfeeding my firstborn! You can get a prescription for it or just buy it at Walmart near the intimate items😊 it's basically a lube you insert in before doing the things, and it kills the sperm before it can go on its egg hunt😅
I chose paragard for when I was breastfeeding and it doesn't have hormones

My OB said the IUD will dry up my milk. She said there are some pills that won’t, the shot, or the arm implant. My 6 week appointment is Tuesday too. I’ll be getting the implant.
