Actually you should check your manual - You cannot add additional aftermarket items to your car seat. If you’re concerned about their head placement then you should consult a cpst and consider changing the recline of their seat

@Alyssa this is for when she goes off to sleep. Her head is lying low on one side and I feel like a little support would help keep her comfortable.

@Dina okay but you still can’t add aftermarket things to a car seat. If you’re concerned about her position please contact a professional

I second what @Alyssa says, if it didn't come with your car seat or isn't sold by your manufacturer for your specific car seat, you can't add it as it has not be safety tested. This is a great FB group run by CPSTs for car seat information. https://www.facebook.com/share/Zyb1uf1QcuSEu9q5/?mibextid=A7sQZp

Agree with others. Be very careful about aftermarket products in your car seat. In some situations it can even void the warranty. If you were to be in an accident, that product could be the reason insurance denies your claim. It’s not worth the risk. Check the manual, find out if your car seat’s manufacturer makes a safety approved add-on. If not, live without.

I agree with everyone’s comments. I’ve seen professionals advise additional aftermarket items in a child’s car seat can put your child in harms way if god forbid you were ever in an accident. I would avoid altogether and consult a cpst if you’re worried about how your baby is in their car seat. That Fb group suggested above is a great resource
