Has anyone never got on with ovulation tests but still fell pregnant?

Wondering if anyone has struggled to find their peak using ovulation tests but still managed to get pregnant? How reliable are they? I’m having regular periods but struggling to get a line darker than the ovulation test line

I was the same! The only ovulation test that picked me up over every expensive brand was Poundland!! 😂 and there so much cheaper!

@Beth and you still ended up falling pregnant? I keep getting disheartened never seeing a positive ovulation test but hoping there’s nothing wrong! 🫣

First month I tried them I fell pregnant, currently 19+4 weeks! could just be a coincidence but I’d been trying for months on the expensive ones! Got sick of paying it!😂

For my first, I used the clear blue digital ones and never got a static smiley face, yet I got pregnant and have a 2 yo! This time around I’m tracking everything with peaks and still not pregnant 🙃

I never ever got a peak or even a high, always read as low and I got pregnant on the 7th cycle

When the tests start to get high, you should start testing several times a day so you don’t miss your peak. The clearblue tests are expensive but they may be useful to help you understand when you ovulate so you can use the strip tests more accurately. If you’re doing all this and you’re concerned you’re never getting a high reading, you could go to the doctors and they will do a blood test to check if you have ovulated.
