Hello, I used to always take pills, I was wondering after having 7/8 days period, if he come inside while having intimate relationship (just started to take again the pill from one day) is there a chance to be pregnant? (I know pills also are not secure, but more chance?)

To be protected immediately with it, you need to take it within the first 5 days of your period. If not, you need to do at least 7 days before protection begins. However, I will say that I took my pill religiously (Desogestrel) everyday for a year and still fell pregnant on it 🙈😅. I had also previously conceived while on the implant too 🤦🏻♀️

Normally the pill doesn’t protect until taking it for 7 days. So there is a chance that you can get pregnant if you haven’t taken it for 7 days yet.
