I think the only way to tell unfortunately is to get a cervix check

@Anya I’ve read in a lot of studies it has a overall 85% accuracy and a lot of midwives use this instead of cervical checks. Wanted to get others who have done this before. And if there experience was true to it because of so I’m about 3-4 cm dilated

Oh no it’s definitely accurate. It’s just good to double check because if you do see it and freak out thinking you’re in labor, but again dilated doesn’t always mean labor. It could be weeks away and hopefully that’s the case if you’re only 32 weeks.

Oh my god help I have a line 😭. I’m not ready!!!

@Anya no I’m about to be 36 😂 I’ve been checking since 32 because I had by first at 36 weeks but I didn’t know about it the first time around

I’m 36 weeks today. Omg I’m not ready wait 😭 should I be worried

I’ve never heard of this but will def be checking

I would think this line along with cervical check is still not a for sure indication of labor though ☹️ just because you can be at 4cm dilated for weeks and weeks until labor or 2cm and go the next day. Unfortunately even my OB tells me she has no crystal ball and makes no assumptions!

@Dayna they should have a crystal ball :(

@Anya I really wish they did 😂 having babies is hard enough without all the waiting and wondering!!

@Anya Agreed 🤣
