Contraceptive after birth

What contraceptive did you use after birth? Why?(I had a c section 2 weeks ago) I’d like something I can get off of whenever and not have to wait for my body to regulate to get pregnant. Definitely don’t want to be on the pill again. I’m thinking about the IUD but it kinda scares me lol

I did the patch after birth and the IUD prior to having my lo. I noticed after the IUD I had symptoms start for pcos which I wasn’t aware of having prior.. the patch was a lot easier for me because I didn’t need to schedule a visit, I just stopped it.

I was on the contraceptive pill since 16. I came off it to have my first daughter and fell pregnant within 4 weeks. I tried the implant but I bled for 7 months and it raised my blood pressure so had it removed and went back on the pill. Same happened with my 2nd, pregnant within 4 weeks and with my twins 😃 Now I'm on nothing and hubby has had the snip 👍 After being off the pill for the longest time since 16, without being pregnant, I have realised the pill really suppressed my sex drive 🤷🏼‍♀️ x
