The pill comes with less complications it’s less invasive so if you’re able to I recommend the pill with something stronger than Tylenol maybe a codeine with Tylenol mix you might bleed a little or a lot shouldn’t last too long

I’ve heard it’s a lot more to go through than the surgery tbh. You bleed a lot longer, in more pain and it takes longer to pass. But everyone is different

i didn’t but my friend did. i got the surgery and comparing each others i wish i would’ve picked the pill. she was back on her feet in a couple of weeks there was less bleeding faster recovery time etc.

Emotionally I really struggled with the surgery, but physically I know it was the best option for me. I was put to sleep and the procedure took less than 10 minutes. I’ve heard the pill can be very painful and take a while to pass. A friend of mine took the pill and it didn’t work, and she ended up having to have the procedure. I had the pill and personally if I ever needed an abortion again I would choose the surgery. I found the pain from the pill absolutely horrific. I also bled so much and it was quite traumatic to have to watch it all come out. My friend had surgery option later on and didn’t have any of that really

@Amelia that’s probably because you were given Tylenol or ibuprofen if you are given something stronger the pain is minimal to nothing

I took the pill and idk about the surgery but I didn’t have a horrible experience with the pill. Yeah you bleed a lot but I guess I was used to heavier period. But when I went to shower there was pieces coming out while I showered and it was a bit much , like blood clots. That’s what I remember vividly . And this was several years ago . Pain was like a bad period , I just took Tylenol/ ibuprofen .

An old roommate of mine took the pill and she was in so much pain, it was painful to watch. The only think I can do was be at her beck and call and cuddle with her to let her know she was not alone. She bled a lot. If I ever had to choose though, there is a high percentage I would chose the pill. I have seen the surgery process and it haunts me just to think of it. Plus, I naturally worry that someone is going to mess up and then there will be a domino effect.

Update: I took the first pill yesterday and just took the 2nd set of abortion pills this morning and that was the most traumatizing thing I’ve ever experienced. I literally just saw the pregnancy tissue come out in the shower and it was the worst thing ever :(
