Colostrum Collecting
Is anyone else having zero luck with collecting colostrum, I'm in day 2, tried 4 times & I've got absolutely nothing! Feeling fed up x

I’ve also heard that a warm bath/shower and warm environment is meant to help so warm those boobies! 😂
I couldn't get anything for 5 days and I was getting frustrated too! I found that using a hot water bottle and massaging for a while before trying to collect the colostrum helps a lot. I can only get a tiny bit now when I try, so I keep reminding myself that it's okay not to collect any colostrum. Absolutely nothing wrong with that so if it doesn't happen, it doesn't change anything. I would say try again after a hot shower, massage for a while and try different pressure/finger location. I have to do the C shape really close to the nipple to get anything. Good luck!

Yep! But I’m going to keep trying as the constant stimulation might get something going - wishful thinking🤞🏽 I’ve heard that some women just don’t get anything until baby comes which is also fine - it’ll happen when it happens but it’ll happen!😊
