Names dont come attatched to skin colour. I have mixed kids and went with names we liked not based on being mixed.

I’m mixed .. my name must be too black then 🙃
Not sure how a name can be too white, maybe you mean too preppy or traditional or of English or other European origin? If so, you might like Adrian, Ezra, Graham, Felix, Damien, Jeremiah, Jaden, Dominique
@Kenya you were named after an African country babe. Kenya 😊 African.
@Ragain no she means too white, I’m sure you don’t have any white friends that are called kaydeen or shaniqua
@Bella yes I’m aware? I don’t understand your point
@Kenya my point is that there are black names and white names.
@Bella that’s just an ignorant response but do you girl
@Ragain 😂 but it’s not though you won’t name your child funmi or Ola
@Bella I wouldn’t use a name I didn’t like, but my reasoning wouldn’t be because it was “too black” that’s just ignorant.
@Ragain yeah for you. I wouldn’t want to name my child a white name I’d stick to my origin and that of my ancestors x
@Bella using a culturally significant name I get, but black people can also name their kids “white names” as you call them lol I guess I don’t get how a name can belong to a race. I mean your name is Bella is it not? I doubt that has a typically African or black origin
It can because we would have never accepted any white names if they weren’t forced upon us. It’s absolutely fine if there are black people that would want to name their children white people names. But for those who no our history we no the difference between a black name and a white name.

@Bella I didn’t realize how much people would be upset about me saying “too white” 😅 like if you guys don’t get it it’s okay but my man’s name is Amani (he’s black) and im Shay (im white oves haha) but I need a happy medium like you said I’m not going to name my son Chad or something like that because “ traditional” that’s a “white” name but I feel like some people on here just don’t understand where I’m coming from trying to not to that to my son but I guess I’m an ass 🤣
@Shay you are and educated woman. Leave them to be offended who cares. You don’t wanna name you child a white people name don’t, if you do then by all means. My children’s father is white and his name is Barry he even didn’t want to name his children white names as they are black!
