It's a hormonal birth control, it works by altering your natural hormones. It also takes about 3 months to begin leaving your system. I used to be on it as a preteen to get my period to stop. I'd say to talk to your Healthcare provider before you start to lose too much blood. I needed multiple blood transfusions when I was younger because I was passing out from my cycle going on for weeks at a time
@J.S. Lucky its not super heavy it’s alot of spotting and throughout the day. I change my pad at least 2/3 times a day. I havent felt crampy or unwell i just want the spotting to stop.
:No advice : but in case you were thinking of switching I got the nexplanon and I 100 percent don’t recommend it I’m going through the same bleeding situation as you! Blood clots and all !
Wow! It feels like I wrote this!! I’m going through the exact same thing and I’m soooo tired of it!!! I haven’t stopped bleeding since I gave birth because I got the depo shot at 6 weeks PP. I really wish the bleeding would stop already!!
