Kit day
I have just had a text from my manager (new manager) trying to cancel my first kit day tomorrow because they have realised my laptop needs updating. Am I right to be fuming?

@Vikki thank you!!! They’re keeping in touch days!! Not bloody work days. I am honestly so disappointed that they are trying to get their moneys worth from me. My we had someone come back from mat leave with my previous manager and that person turned up at ten and left at three and just shadowed and chatted for the day. She left at lunch to meet her husband and baby etc. we were all so excited and enthusiastic just to hear about her new mum life and see her. I’m not dreading doing in tomorrow and feel so so anxious.

Oh goodness me!! They’re taking the KIT far too seriously. I go in, with or without baby, make myself a coffee, she cuddles who ever wants to cuddle her, then we go home!! I’m absolutely not there to work!! Xx
