Low sperm count 😔

My husband and I got his results back finally. His sperm count was low at 4 million. Everything else was good. We have gotten pregnant twice but have had devastating miscarriages and it takes a long time to get pregnant. Anyone have idea to boost his count? He’s seeing a urologist soon but not trying to pay thousands of dollars for IVF and other test. I have done every test and I am good. Any ideas or supplements?

Lifestyle changes; quit drinking, smoking (especially cannabis) lose weight if applicable. Get him started on a prenatal vitamin and CoQ10. You might be candidates for IUI which is less invasive and less costly. You could also look into getting him started on clomid.

Yes to the above. Smoking, drinking, stress - all have huge impacts!! Also for you, I know you have done every test and you’re fine but look into what you can do to carry a pregnancy. Both of you need good diets, and you pregnancy supplements

My partner has low sperm count and low motility. He took coq10, ashwagandha and vitamin c tablets, and I got pregnant twice in 4 months!

Fertility docs don’t do much here for low count. They recommend impryl with NO other antioxidants like Q10 etc. You can read the research on their website. Some clinics recommend proxeed where you can take Q10 etc alongside it. Lifestyle factors are a huge part as the girls mention above, and also no cycling/spinning classes. My husband had 4 million when we conceived our daughter and his morphology/mobility etc was also low. So I’d do your best to improve things where you can but try not to worry, only one needs to get there! X

Everything listed and also NO HEAT!!! No cell phones in pockets. No laptops or other devices on laps. No baths. No hot tubs!

@Rachel he works outside. We live in south Florida it’s been over 100 degrees the last week 😔

@Mel no boxer shorts!!

Please give him proxeed men twice a day one in morning one in evening

Sperm takes 3 months to replenish so don’t expect results overnight but if you follow some strict lifestyle changes you will be in a good place in a few months time :)
