Hi, yes, I’m already on injection number 50! It’s annoying, but definitely worth avoiding the risks. I definitely prefer someone else doing them for me, but lots of people do it themselves too. You get used to them, even tho they’re definitely not pleasant…

Yep been on them a few weeks. My other half has been doing them , can’t face doing them myself ( hate needles) but defo worth lowering the risk. Good luck x

I’ve been on them since I was 6 weeks pregnant and now 27 weeks been having them every day. I do them myself and have got used to them now

I got the tablets instead x

Hi all, can I ask what condition you have that requires these injections? thanks

Gestational diabetes x

Can I ask why all is on injection as I have gdm and not taking any blood thinners never have ?

I’ve been on aspirin from 12 weeks and got to start the injections next week but also keep taking aspirin 🤷🏼‍♀️ worried as both blood thinners. I’m terrified of needles and no way would I allow my partner to do them either! I will give it a go and if not then I won’t be able to have them x

I was told to lower the aspirin dosage as I had 2 once a day x

I had asprin but that was cause my last baby was premature

@Amy i have to start taking them as my mum has a blood disorder which I'm a carrier of and plus my age as im 38. X

I’m on them because I have quite severe hyperemesis and am at risk of dehydration and was bedbound for ages / still in bed a lot. So that all increases the risks of blood clotting.

I’ve been on Fragmin (blood thinners) since 14 weeks and having to do them due to high BMI and my dad has DVT. I do them myself and while it’s not the most pleasant thing to have to do you do get used to them and just do it as you know you have to x

Yes, was on them from 15 weeks with my first daughter, currently 26 years with my second and been on them since 9 weeks x

Haha! Love the 26 years with my second 🤣 it can definitely feel like that!
