Boy name - Albie

I already have an almost two year old Elodie. What do we think of the name Albie? My husbands grandad was called Albert, and my husbands middle name is Alberto to honour him (with a twist) 😂 I’ve heard a couple little boys recently called Albie - is it common now? Want something cute but strong to go with his big sister.

I think it’s a lovely name, I’ve also heard of Alban too which is similar and nice but not too common x

Thanks everyone, I think that may be his name! It’s just I went to the farm last week and I heard two little boys being called Albie! However I’ve never known anyone myself named it! I also had never heard of a Elodie and it seems really popular this year now. Not that it’s an issue just don’t want there to be 7 Albies in his school year 😂😂

I love the name Albie i think it’d beautiful It’s very popular here in Bristol so I hear it quite alot But if you love the name then I wouldn’t worry about other children having the same name It also pairs beautifully with Elodie xx

@Molly-May ah maybe that’s why! I’m in Bath, well I was at Fairfield animal centre when I heard it being used (after I had decided I liked it) yeah I do like that they both end in ‘ie’ :)
