Do you call triage or is it a GP thing?

I think I have a UTI and have only just started getting symptoms for it now at 1.30 I know you have to get seen for this but is it a triage call or try to get in the GP in the morning kind of thing? TIA ❤️

It’s a GP thing because midwives can’t prescribe anything on the spot unfortunately. They always have to go through your GP

@Beatriz amazing thank you for answering so quickly! I just wasn't sure which route to take! X

No problem 🥰

Last time I had a UTI the GP sent me to the pharmacist, so they may be able to help (and be quicker than getting a GP appointment in most cases!)

Our local pharmacy now have stuff in store for things like UTI! I would definitely go and have a word with them 😊

I had recurrent utis before pregnancy and maternity assessment prescribed me antibiotics for this on the spot about 8 times while I was pregnant
