Yep with Nexplanon I didn’t bleed at all for years but this last time they gave me Implanon instead and I did have on & off spotting. It’s very common but if you’re worried there’s no harm in going to get checked out!
I had my Nexplanon put in September and was fine with no bleeding up until this past month, it was every few days for about 3 weeks and now I'm on day 8 of continuous bleeding. I had Nexplanon a few years ago with no trouble but this is new to me
Absolutely fine, I've had the implant on/off for about 9+ years and my periods were very inconsistent. Most the time I would go months without them, then I had very light bleeding for a few weeks. That's my fave part with the implant where I didn't bleed lol but I know someone who it made bleed for months so they had to have it out x
This time I have off an on spotting… I wouldn’t be too worried about it. It’s more annoying than anything.
I’ve had the implant for 10 years in total. Every year has been completely different. Sometimes I have regular normal cycles, sometimes I have irregular cycles, sometimes they are heavy and sometimes they are light. Sometimes I will go months without a period. It’s all normal I have spoken to the doctor about. She brought it up actually.
Thank you everyone! I was thinking the worst but thanks to y’all I think I’m just trippin 🤣😂
@Jacquelyn it’s okay, I think we all go through this panic 😂
The implant made me bleed for months straight. I was on it for 6 years had it back to back.Went on the pill and periods became regular. Went on the iud after a year of being back on the pill after having my son and haven't had any serious issues and period is kinda going away.
I had it before pregnancy and my period was inconsistent until it wasn’t I had it in for 3 years and took it out to get pregnant and I’ve almost had my pp implant for a year. I don’t know how it’s going to change after baby bc I still hadn’t got my period back yet since having this baby (breastfeeding). I have a question for The Nexplanon users…my son squeezed my implant through my arm and now I’m scared it maybe broken in my arm. Does that sound crazy?
@Marcqualla that’s what I’m afraid of!!
@Jacquelyn I’ve been feeling it and it’s still where it’s supposed to be so idk 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
@Marcqualla that’s a good thing lol
@Marcqualla I had one of mine broken twice, it had zero effect to it, still worked perfectly fine. The doctor was impressed I was able to break it 😂
I had the implant for 3 years! I had very inconsistent cycles for a while and then sometimes I would get a period and then not get a period. But it’s always best to ask your doctor! And always make sure you can feel the implant in your arm to make sure it hasn’t migrated!
