BC after baby is here..

So I haven’t been on birth control since probably my freshmen year of highschool, so like 6 years ago. I was on the depo shot, and it was strictly to help regulate my period (I wasn’t sexually active). But after I stopped my freshmen year my period has been so inconsistent, I’d have it for two months or one day, or it would disappear for 6+ months. All the doctors would say is “it takes awhile for your period to go back to normal” but it’s been 6ish years… Now that I am sexually active and I DO NOT want to get pregnant again, what BC method do you prefer/have used? I’m 36w and I’ll be getting induced at 38, so my time being pregnant is almost over and I’m so excited 🙌🏻🤣 but I’d like to keep it that way lmao, so any advice/info you have would be greatly appreciated!
