Contraception Implant

I just had the implant done today. Did people have positive experiences with it? 🥲🤣

I hated it 😂. I got it taken out as soon as they agreed to take it out xx

Pretty much the same. I would bleed longer and longer each time after hubby and I had fun. And I still would experience all my normal monthly pms symptoms. I had the implanon in the arm and had it for almost a year

I really liked it. I had one period about two weeks after I had it out in and then I didn’t have periods the whole rest of the time I had it in. I didn’t have any other symptoms from it. I’ve just had another one put in after having a baby, so far so good!

I had mine out on Wednesday last week after having it in for 3 months. Bled pretty much the entire time and was so over it 😂😂. Fingers crossed you have a good experience though! 🤞🏼

Had it for 10 years before having my LO and had it put back in after. Works really well for me

I had mine for 8 years before having my little one. Didn't bleed once or have any problems, even when change over day happened. Well actually when I first had it in I had a blister, but that was from the numbing injection. It soon cleared away. Had one out back in after having my little one nearly two years ago and had a few random bleeds. But now back to normal and no problems. Some people bleed every day, some odd ones and some never. It all depends on you really. It's not for everyone.

I hated it, sorry. I was dryer than the Sahara desert, absolutely no sex drive, and I bled (lightly) for 5 months straight. I had it out after just over a year. Loved fiddling with it in my arm tho. 😂 I have some friends who had really positive experiences on it though, so it’s really down to the person

On my 4th always loved it, no periods while on it no crazy mood swings! Fell pregnant the month after having it taken out last time too ☺️

Hi! Got mine in November, bled for about 2(ish) weeks and have not bled since! It’s been about 6 months with no periods, cramps, or anything. Sex drive is still pretty normal too!

Thanks everyone!
