Anyone respond better to stims second cycle ?
Started second round of ivf. ( day 3 of stims) ( no down regulation cycle this time) also they have not changed meds or protocols.. as on highest dose. AMH is normal .
First round got only 2 eggs which resulted in 1 good quality blastocyst which unfortunately didn’t implant. Anyone respond poorly to stimulation first time and the better the second time ? And did you do anything different or just luck of the draw ?

I did but they lowered my Medicine dose which gave me better quality eggs I was actually able to freeze one this time

Following. I have low AMH and PCOS. First round I got 7 eggs, 2 blastocysts, 1 euploid embryo. FET worked as embryo implanted but lost it as a chemical pregnancy. Working toward a July ER now. Starting meds next month. Doc is putting me on Lupron this time around and increased my Gonal-F but Menopur is staying the same. I believe my trigger shot will be different this time too. Not sure what to expect. Doc wants to boost me in the beginning of my next cycle as I was slow to respond last time. Other changes I’m making this time are increasing supplements for egg quality based on intermediate plans in the book IT STARTS WITH THE EGG and really watching my diet (lower carb, higher protein approach). Hope we get better results!
