So they have the depo shot which I hear is horrible, the iud which I heard is very painful to insert I just don’t like the idea and I believe there’s like a injection you can get chip in your arm? I like the idea of pill form best bc I can always stop and I don’t wanna be on it long like I’m gonna be 28 idk but apparently it can help with pms a lot like breaking out, depression, ect But you can gain water weight whi bc I feel like is nothing and it apparently makes your period non existent 👀 I have the pills but I’m really debating lol.. I started seeing someone few months ago and wanan make sure we’re really serious before anything is to happen not that I plan on it anytime soon. But better to be safe bc we already had a condom break on us 😭
I have the Mirena and no major side effects as of now. I've heard that if you gave birth it hurts less when inserted in. I did some deep breathing exercises and stared at the ceiling.
I’m not for it personally. I track my ovulation. Always have.
I've had the copper IUD for 7 years and track ovulation with Mira before getting pregnant and I def recommend it over all the hormonal bc that I've had. I had been working on balancing my hormones naturally for a long time and it's definitely been worth it. I know everyone's body reacts differently to bc, but I was finally able to get down to a healthy weight, no more acne, no more period cramps, etc. I'll pick 30 seconds of feeling I'm about to shit myself pain if it means I don't have to worry about messing up my hormones and having an oops baby for 12 years. Def getting back on it after baby boy is born.
I was on the pill from the age of 15-26. While I was on it I struggled with hormones. My doctor recommended me to take a vitamin with it but it didn’t work. After having my LO I started using a non hormonal IUD copper.
I too was thinking of going back on the pill but I’m not sure at all. What were some alternatives you were thinking about if not the pill?
