Inserting it rectally will be absolutely fine. If it happens again tomorrow, I would continue to use them rectally until you can get hold of someone at your clinic.
I prefer to use them rectally anyway. The increased blood flow can cause swelling in your vagina so that might be why it's coming out. If you'll be using them up to 12 weeks like I did, id really recommend rectally. So much less messy and they stay in until you have a bowel movement. I was on 6 per day
@Bec thank you. I spoke to the clinic and they said it's perfectly fine too xxx
@Sharon thank you for replying! I've spoken to the clinic, they recommend vaginally but said rectally is fine if it can't be administered vaginally 😊
@Charley thanks hun, yeah I feel like there is some kind of swelling! I administered last nights dose rectally and this mornings one vaginally which was kind of okay this time round...🫤
I’m glad you spoke to them and not worried any more , it’s so stressful but I didn’t even ask I just put an extra one in as to make sure I had enough x
I used to do them rectally because it stay and no mess and in the past I did put extra one in , don’t panic .My son is now 7 months old, best of luck x
