LH is produced in the brain, not in the ovaries. So would be the same whether you had a missing ovary or not. Does that help?
But you don’t get a positive stick if you’re not ovulating so I don’t get that haha! @Charley x So you can have a positive LH stick and not ovulate?
But the fact that there are two lines there means that there is lh detected. It's only when LH gets really high, and then falls again that it triggers ovulation. So you could get a positive and not ovulate, it's not a failsafe process. The only way to check if you've ovulated is progesterone testing on day 21 ish
A positive ovulation strip is different to pregnancy test - the line shows up all the time unlike pregnancy test (at least mine did) until it gets as dark as control line or darker its not positive
I understand how an ovulation stick works. My question was whether I would get a second line at all if there was no LH/ovulation x
As I’ve done a lot of sticks with no second line at all
When ovulation happens the line is as dark or darker than the control line I believe
