Late fertilization
Hi ladies
I had my egg retrieval yesterday and I got 23 eggs
11 were mature
4 were initially immature
3 were immature
5 were discarded due to being to immature to inject
7 of the 11 mature eggs fertilized normally
And also the 3 initially immature ones fertilized normally to.
The rest of the eggs they are waiting to see if they fertilize normal to.
Has anyone ever had any eggs fertilize late?

Hi yes they did fertilize and on my day three update I had 12 eggs I just received the news on day 6 that I have two embryos frozen and sent for pgt testing And there still watching three more that are in the early blastocyst stage until Tomorrow. Praying they will make it 🤞🏽

Hope it went well with the other three! I got my 3 day update that 10 are in the running even though at first of the 13, only 4 fertilized with 3 extra immature, but I guess the fertilization check can be so transient that they hold for monitoring so we have 10 as of now 🤞
