I haven't, but my mom has. I asked her about it and she said it was a long process(almost 5 years start to finish) that was well worth it; and suggested you ask about the "All on 4" method where they take your teeth out and put them back in with titanium rods take about 3-6 month to fuse with the bone through osseointergation. She also said she still has a crunching in her jaw, but that it doesn't hurt. She gave me permission to share before and after pictures if you wanted to see ☺️

@Zainab🗝️ let me know how it goes. Our doctor said they may need to do that to Lucas in his teens depending how his jaw grows and teeth develop to accommodate his big tongue.

@Zainab🗝️ It really did, she said they moved her top jaw forward, and her bottom jaw forward and to the side. I forget how long her jaw was wired shut for but she was eating only blended foods for a while.

@Jae 👾 I know it’s going to suck but my I’m in discomfort that’s gotten worse with age and I started seeing it in photos a few years ago. If I just relax my face my lips look off. I hate it. I’m 32 and if I have to live a few more decades I think it’s worth it to do it.

@Zainab🗝️ it'll definitely be worth it, especially if your pain and discomfort has been getting worst. The pain and discomfort from surgery is only temporary.

A little update, I don’t have enough bone for an implant so I would need to get bone put in.

@Genevieve lmao a strangers bone or they make one with my own blood. My dad offered from them to use his bone or blood because I’m anemic, I don’t think they can do that though.
