Are you one and done or like to have more?

My pregnancy has been so smooth. I come from a family where I’m close to my siblings and I’d like that for my kid. My hubby comes from a family where he is not close to his siblings and has closer relationships with his friends and thinks it’s best to only have one kid. My question is can a child grow up happy as an only child?? We would get to focus solely on him and give him a really good life financially.

I went off of how we felt as she grew up. Right now she’s been begging for friends and she’s bored all day at 2.5. My body could handle another, we were financially stable, so we made the decision. Birth, postpartum, raising your child, all can change your mind or your husbands. For now I’d just ride things out and see where things go

I’m an only child and personally want my children to have siblings. That being said I have a cousin that grew up close by and she’s the closest thing I have to a sister. So if they have close family or friends growing up that can help alleviate loneliness.

@Alexandria we actually moved far away from my family so my baby would have no family members around his age nearby :/
