UTI

My 14 weeks baby girl has been tested positive for UTI 😢 just can’t get my head around what I did wrong for her to get UTI I change nappy every 3/4 hrs, clean front to back…. GP going to refer to hospital for further tests, I hope it’s nothing serious 🙏🏽😢

You haven't done anything wrong as girls our anatomy is very close together and urethras are shorter so we can get UTIs more frequently than men fingers crossed it's nothing more serious! X

My litttle one was hospitalised with prolonged jaundice & dangerously high bilirubin levels before she was 2 weeks old due to ecoli in her urine - no explanation other than girls genitals are close together so easy for poo to transfer in nappy - i went through the same guilt. Its nothing you’ve done wrong, just one of those things x

@Elishah I hope you’re little one is all better now When something is not right with our babies we tend to feel guilty isn’t xxx
