Explicit: Plan B pill

Okay so, let me first start off and say that I have a 4 month old, born via C-section. I don’t plan on getting pregnant. I fully intend to not get pregnant ever again. (I have 2 and me and my husband both agree that 2 is perfect for us.) Well, I started to get my period roughly 2-3 months ago. I had my period the week of 420 and last night, man we had great sex. Like so amazing that we didn’t want to stop. The best we had in a minute. My hubby pulled out because we didn’t have a condom on hand. But I believe it was a second too late and still ended up cumming inside a little. (I could tell in the shower last night and I’ve been having discharge all day today.) After the fact, I realized that I could be ovulating considering my period was earlier in the month. So I just had him pick up a plan b after he got off work just to be safe. I also never taken them before. So took it and chose to forget about it and move on. So I’m telling my bestie about how I took the pill and she said if you already ovulated then the pill most likely won’t work. Shocked, I pulled out some ovulation tests I had and SHOCKINGLY, there’s 2 strong lines. So fuck. Anxiety through the roof. I feel my life flash before my eyes and the hot milf summer I wanted may be gone. My husband just had his vasectomy consult and I’m low key just scared and anxious to see if my period will come next month or not. I also do feel crampy like I am having period cramps but I can tell it’s ovulating pain. If I do become pregnant, I don’t know what I’ll do. I’ve had a miscarriage in my teens but never had I gotten an abortion and I feel so guilty. I just don’t know if I can have another and be due roughly around my baby’s 1st birthday. Has anyone dealt with this before or know more information about plan b. (I got the Julie brand from Target). Like what is the likelihood that I could become pregnant because it’s a race against the pill and the sperm.

As long as you took it before 72 hours, you should be good

Omg ,.when I read your post I thought no way I've never heard that before , but ugh it looks like your friend is right. I'm trying to copy the link from healthline for you

Your friend is correct, if you had ovulated already there is a chance to become pregnant as the sperm and egg can meet. Plan B will delay or stop ovulation if it hasn’t happened when taken, therefore there will be no egg for sperm to meet. You’ve basically done everything you can at this point. So now you just wait.

So I think its if the egg is already dropped. If plan b didnt work when you ovulate, then it would be literally useless since you cant get pregnant any other time of the month... but theres really no way to know for sure if the egg already dropped.

Based on starting your period on April 20- you could be at the early window of ovulation and it could be good news for you.

Where your ovulation test was at a high or peak, you'll ovulate within 24-36 hours of that but where you took plan b, it'll stop or delay it. I'd say you're safe. I've taken plan b before and it made me suuppeerr crampy for a few days after so thats probably what you're feeling. Be careful though because it made me ovulate right after my period stopped.

If it turns out you aren't pregnant, get the copper IUD... That'll save you for the next 10 years😊

Hopefully u get the outcome you're looking for.

The pill doesn’t work when you’re ovulating

Just want to add, plan b only works on woman 170lbs or less (something they don’t advertise) I don’t know your weight and not trying to imply anything just wanted to give you a heads up it’s not as effective for curvy woman such as myself

@Sarah i’ve heard you have to take two if above a certain weight. Idk if that’s true or if it works at all but that’s what some women have said if they are bigger
