Question

I will be 2 months pp next week and I was wondering if any moms out there are either on have been on MedroxyProgester (Birth Control Injection) that’s for 3 months? If so what was/ is your experience like? Have you experienced any symptoms like weight gain, dizziness, etc. I’m thinking about going on it and I’m a little nervous I would like some feedback on it before taking it.

Important to note i tried it before pregnancy & after the 1st shot i never got it again - but i bled everyday for those 3 months (light/spotting) Had lots of cramping, decrease in sex drive, gained weight but nothing insane so idk if to blame myself or the shot on that one… but after i explained all these symptoms to my obgyn they said those are common side effects so i just told them i wont be getting the next injection
