Nursing pillow

Can anyone recommend a nursing pillow please? Also would this need to be taken to hospital too?

With my first I used the IKEA one and really liked it as it's shaped like the boppy but firmer. This time round I still have that but I also scores a My Brest Friend nursing pillow for £5 off FB market (those are on the more expensive side) and even though I haven't put it into use yet as still waiting for baby to arrive, but I could tell it's gonna be awesome. So those are my recommendations hands down! In terms of taking it to the hospital, you absolutely can, I'd say keep it in the car and your birth partner can fetch it when you give birth and transfer to the ward.

Bbhug me I really recommend 🫶🏼 I have the pregnancy pillow and nursing pillow ready for baby xx

With my first I had one from tk maxx which I loved, this time round I got a mamas and papas one. They had a deal on that you got a spare cover for free which I feel I would benefit from. The amount of dribbled milk or sick I got on my last, the cover was constantly being washed and stuck on the radiator and had to keep wrapping towels round the pillow 😂

I wouldn't bring it hospital. Too much stuff to bring it would be a pain. If anything.. bring yourself a bed pillow they are horrible in the hospital 🤣 I did bring one it was heaven but was annoying to carry around.

I have a my brest friend pillow and love it. Even better that it has pockets to hold snacks and bits for baby 😁 I took mine to hospital last time, but this time I'm going to leave it at home. I found it a bit awkward to get comfortable in the hospital bed/chair with it and there's restricted space - was much better at home on the sofa 🥰 I'm planning on trying feeding in a sling this time around and see how that goes instead.
