PREGNANCY PILLOW WORTH IT?🤔

I’m 23 weeks and I’m wondering if it’s worth it to get a pregnancy pillow. Does it actually help with sleep or being comfortable in bed? I’ve been using a regular pillow between my legs as always and just wondering if there are any noteworthy pros for me to spend $50 on one. Please drop your opinions on how helpful pregnancy pillows were or were not for you 💗

Yes omg and I even was able to use it as a breast feeding pillow after she was born. She 12 months old and sometimes I still use it just cause it keeps me cool😂

Yesssss, I got the one that looks like a U shape and it helps to have the knee, hip, and back support 💯

Totally worth it! It’s so much better comfort wise to sleep with one in my opinion. Also helps me to stay side lying 😊

I did just use it in bed I used it everywhere as I just felt more comfortable sitting with it (I had bad sciatica), I took it to my birth, when they took me through to deliver it was the only thing I was bothered about taking from the hundreds of things I’d took and I used it months after just because I ached 😂 best thing I ever bought as I’m convinced of my husband hadn’t of hid it from me 4 months pp I’d still be as attached to it 😂😂😂 x

Heck yes I just use two body pillows but I got them during my last pregnancy and I got them because I was pregnant so I consider them pregnancy pillows lol I still use them in this pregnancy The point is I absolutely think you need to get some sorta comfortable sleep support cause pregnancy warps the hell out of your anatomy and it HURTS by the 3rd trimester

See mine was the opposite. I got soooo hot using it. I liked it well enough for comfort especially as I got bigger but I had to be pretty much naked and slept with only the top sheet… I do run warm anyway.. I used it a few days post partum but honestly now it’s my dogs bed. 🤷🏻‍♀️ he likes to be cuddled. Hahha

100% I have the U shaped one and im 27 weeks and I got it probably when I was around 25? Weeks cause I was not sleeping good at all and at first took me a bit to adjust to it and get comfortable but now I sleep amazing. I would also check in Facebook free baby groups as I got mine basically brand new from a lady as she didn't really like hers.

I used my husband 😂 basically laid on top of him so if your man doesn’t like it I’d get one

Yess

Not for me 🥴😭 I felt so uncomfortable. I'm so glad I bought it as a second-hand 😊

I used it for a bit with my first baby and didn’t like it after a while so stopped using it and haven’t used one with my other pregnancies. I found that my neck would hurt and I couldn’t use my own pillow on it because it was too high.

I got mine around 18/19 weeks and haven’t went a night without it, currently 37 weeks🤣 x

Personally I wouldn’t recommend, hardly used mine just got too uncomfortable with pelvis/bump and nothing really seemed to work in the end 😅

Boppy Pregnancy Wedge Pillow with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JT1ZWPL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I used this. Because the big pillow took up the entire bed and I got hot using it. My husband would get frustrated because it was a massive wall between us.

YES

There are ones on fb marketplace for SO cheap if that doesn’t gross you out lol

YES!!! I started using one at 12 weeks for back pain and it was great. But I will say if you have one specific pillow that you use make sure you flip your pregnancy pillow upside down and sleep with your head at the open den. That way you can just put your pillow down.

Yes yes yes!!

100% it was the most used item for me during pregnancy and even after as mine converted into a feeding pillow as well.

My pregnancy pillow is my best friend.

Yes 100% worth getting one. Although my husband hated it because it took up too much room. I day I came back from hospital walked into my bedroom and it was gone had been packed up straight away 😂

My babyboy is 4 months now and i used it my whole pregnancy and still use it to this day 😂🥹

My boyfriend hated it but secretly cuddled with it too lol

I loved it. I can see a lot of people struggled when they got bigger. I personally just used it behind my back at that stage (had a long c shaped one) and it really helped.

I loved it honestly. I still use it sometimes even 😂 It actually helps my back a lot!

The elephant pillow saves lives AS AWESLINGDetachable Maternity Pillow for Pregnant Women | 60in Pregnancy Pillows for Sleeping | Extra Large Full Body Pillow for Pregnancy with Crystal Velvet Cover(Dark Gray) https://a.co/d/2N4GHsQ

I also have something like this and it's great. Not expensive and I use it more than the elephant because it's more small and easy. WYXunPlanet Soft Maternity Pillow | U-Shaped Design | Detachable Extension | Full Body Comfort & Pregnancy Relief (Blue) https://a.co/d/fOhBFiY

Never used a pregnancy pillow during my pregnancy. Just used regular pillow in between my legs and behind my back when I felt uncomfortable. It wasn’t every night that I was uncomfortable.

The pregnancy pillow was my lifesaver during my first trimester. But as I got to 2nd even that couldn’t stop the discomfort.

The support was great but I had a long one which when j wanted to turn over would take the overs with it so I stopped using it and used a larged stuffed toy

@Hannah i LOVED my wedge pillow!! It was gifted to me and was a game changer!! I slept w it every night & still do except now i use it for my back because we are co-sleeping. So it gives me a little support while laying on my side!

I personally don’t use mine it’s so big it makes me really hot😂

Yes definitely get one! I didn’t get one until around 33 weeks and I so wish I got one sooner, you’ve still got a way to go. Trust us, it’s worth it

Absolutely. I was one of those women that had a husband who partied when the baby came out. And through it away.

I bought one for my first pregnancy, because I thought I needed one and it was the done thing. It’s a large U/C shaped one with a button on the end so it’s like a round pillow. I wouldn’t say it helped me all that much, I’d get too hot with it. I used it a lot after pregnancy for breastfeeding and as a little prop-up pillow for baby when she was old enough. I’ve got it down from the loft for this pregnancy. Now I’m 25 weeks and haven’t slept with it once. I don’t feel like I need it. I naturally sleep on my side anyway so it’s not needed to stop me from rolling onto my back.

Yes & you could always look on fb market for some that are barely used and not $50

Yes. I brought a more expensive one and didnt get on with it then brought a hudgr amazon one and its much better as helping you stay on your side. It also support laying down and not being flat as you can rest you legs up and back. The large j shaoe one on amazon i got but often you click u shaoe and they then have a j shape in the options for the same price x

Absolutely 💯 I am still using mine now, you can also get one that you can use as a breastfeeding support/tummy time

He’ll yeah mines is in between my leg, under my belly and head right now lol

Hated my giant pregnancy pillow! Found the only thing that helped was a little wedge I got from Amazon instead! Cheaper as well 🤦🏽‍♀️

I love my pregnancy pillow! I literally couldn’t sleep without it. I have a Mom cozy and it’s reduced my inflammation, got rid of my back pain issues and is big enough for me and my partner to enjoy.

I’m now 33 weeks and couldn’t imagine sleeping without mine. I’ve got the bbhugme, which is quite pricey but is the absolute best thing, and can be used for feeding when baby arrives. I honestly think I will continue using the pregnancy pillow from now on (sorry to my husband, as it’s like another human in the bed) but it just puts you in the best position for sleep. Xx

Yes get the pillow 😭 youll regret it if u don't

Yes, I loved it! I miss it 😭 my partner threw it out as soon as we brought our baby home 😅🤣🤣

YES get one please

1st and 2nd trimester YES especially if you were a stomach sleeper before. I’m afraid not much in the 3rd trimester helps with the discomfort. Everybody is different though. It definitely is worth it to me though!

Yes. The giant U shaped kind are good. I can't sleep without it.

With my first I used a pregnancy pillow but I used it wrong, with my second I just used regular pillows
