I hope you are well taken care of and healing quickly from surgery!

@Mia thank you! I’m taking recovery one day at a time. It’s not easy but I’m trying my best 🙏🏽

@K.C hello! Could u be able to share the experience please? I have a 5cm internal and smaller ones outside the uterus. Left and right. My fertility doc suggested that they scrape or remove the internal one if I want to get pregnant.. and I do! Plus its causing me to be iron deficient... so definitely has to go.. I am 42 btw. Still hoping for a baby and anxious for the surgery. Still waiting for an OB appt tho on whether its a surgery or pills..

@Grace Hi Grace, I was very vocal about how nervous I was. I told the surgeon.. my OB.. the nurses and the anesthesiologist. They explained to me before it was time to go to the OR. So after you sign in.. they take your vitals and start your IV. During that hour before surgery.. the surgeon and anesthesiologist will come talk to you about how everything will go. I walked to the OR.. laid down on the table, looked up and the lights and next thing I remember was waking up In the recovery room. My pain felt like really bad menstrual cramps. I stayed overnight for observation and I felt better about 5 days later and then completely stopped taking Pain killers. I was also iron deficient during my pregnancy bc of my fibroids. I literally had no energy and had to get iron infusions at the hospital every week (iron pills didn’t raise my levels). Hopefully you can get them all removed so when you do become pregnant.. you won’t have those complications.

@Grace Also, my fibroids on the outside started off really small and grew huge during my pregnancy. I wish I knew I had fibroids before I become pregnant.
