Feeling overwhelmed

Hi Everyone, my son is now 9 months old and I am really struggling with his development. He doesn’t roll, doesn’t respond to his name, doesn’t laugh (he does smile), isn’t affectionate, doesn’t hold eye contact for very long, shows no signs of crawling, constantly flaps his arms and is extremely reluctant with eating. He is very calm and chilled. I absolutely hate taking him to baby groups and seeing younger babies doing things he doesn’t do, I get the worst mum guilt and I find it so awkward when people ask me how old he is. I had a really traumatic birth and I’m only just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for that, now I’m contending with this. I’m waiting for my health visitor and paeds appointments in a couple of weeks to discuss things further. I have noticed a few posts similar to mine from around 9-10 months ago and was just wondering how your babies are doing now, did you concerns materialise or did they catch up?

I am dealing with the same with my 14 month old, he is currently working on rolling and learning that he has hands that can do things. I had a lot of coworkers that had babies around the same time or after and they are all surpassing my son as far as development goes and I don't feel comfortable talking about him around them anymore cause I would get remarks like "I can't believe your still working on rolling". The thing that has helped him the most is working with an occupational therapist! He has had speech and PT as well but OT has been the best overall and his has been making a lot of progress with her.
