What are you doing to prepare?

My mom recommended I start a prenatal vitamin and I’m trying to be consistent with the basics (diet, exercise, rest, etc.). I’ve been tracking my cycle for years now, but I started using Natural Cycles since its basal temperature algorithm gives better predictions for menstruation and ovulation. I’m currently working on building my dream team of healthcare providers since they’ll be supporting me through the journey and I’m also looking for community in my local area because I want my kids to have a village. On the lighter side of things, I pretty much named my maybe babies (aka the eventuals) and I started introducing my husband to the names. I also have a Pinterest board and I’ll occasionally buy little things for them… does anyone else do that? 🫣😅

We’re planning for sometime next year before my daughter turns a year old. I’m still taking my prenatals because I’m breastfeeding. Most of my preparation is don’t spiritually so I do a lot of guided meditation for conception, hypnobirthing, law of attraction, and this time we are trying to manifest twins so we will see 😆 I also have ovulation tests that I’ll start using a couple months before to get an idea of when I ovulate

I hope you get your twins! I’ve seen a lot of people use hypnobirthing in my work as a doula, so it’s cool that you’re also using something similar for conception— I don’t think I would’ve thought of that. What does that look like for you? I’m also 11 months younger than my sister, but I’m an oops baby and I’ve heard a lot about waiting 18 months to conceive after having a baby. Can I ask how you decided on the timing between your babes?

Thank you! We had lost a twin in my first pregnancy so we were sure excited about the possibility another set. I’ll often use rainbow relaxation to prepare and use fertility and conception affirmations. A lot of visualisation too! We had asked when we could have another and they said we were good to go when we chose. I had a very easy delivery and no real complications during pregnancy so he felt confident in our timing. I want a lot of babies so I figured just knock them out quickly lol

Sending all the baby dust your way!
