Has anyone planned to give birth at the stepping hill birth centre and then when they’ve gone into labour there isn’t room / a midwife available and it’s caused issues? I don’t want to set my heart on it if there is a high chance they’ll cancel me! 🫣

I'm looking for some groups and things to do with my baby where I can meet people. She's almost 4 weeks so I know it's quite early but getting cabin fever at home now that daddy's back at work. I'm in Cheadle Hulme but happy to go anywhere across Stockport.
