Ideas for weaning

Tea last night was couscous with half a tin of chopped tomatoes and some finely chopped salad leaves, red pepper and cucumber. She was coughing a bit at the start of this one (wasn’t sure if it’s becas of her having a runny nose or the couscous grains are difficult for her to eat) so I ended up chopping even further...

Beetroot pancakes. This is a Joe Wicks one but I didn’t add any porridge. A bit of grated pear and spoon of yogurt served with it.

Pasta with mashed sweet potato and a drop of milk as the sauce. I just offer it pre-chopped (right) but the solid starts app says you can offer whole pieces. Don’t think I’m confident enough in my daughters chewing yet!

Fine grated apple, Greek yogurt, smooth peanut butter and a couple of raspberries
