My 9 week old has dry skin on his head (not necessarily cradle cap). What shall I put on it to get rid of it? Also after washing your baby’s hair, do you put anything on it?

I just don't know why, but my washing machine moulds up so quickly. I don't see this happening with anyone in my family and its never happened to my old one. Its awful.
